The Sequel: Bender Division (C)

$900.00

The Bender division is for lower-level teams that don’t qualify for the Grouse division due to having some form of organized hockey experience on their resume. Comparable to senior rat hockey, this division is for the 50+ crowd, the mix-and match teams, and anyone who wants to “test the waters” before competing at the Open level. The top Bender team will be promoted to Open for the following season.

Bender games to take place on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15.

Teams are guaranteed 3 games: 2 pool play games and the first-round of playoffs, after which games are single elimination until a champion is crowned.

Games are 4v4, 30-minutes long with a 2-minute halftime break. Rosters can have a maximum of 8 players. Rinks are made using 12-inch boards and traditional wooden pond hockey goals (no goalies or goaltending). One team captain will register for a spot in the tournament and serve as the main point of contact.

Final rosters to be submitted by January 1, 2025.

Player waivers must be signed prior to check in. Please check in for player wristbands prior to your first scheduled game.

Registration cost includes a $500 non-refundable deposit.

Full tournament registration fee is non-refundable after October 1, 2024.
