To Our Incredible American Pond Hockey Family,
There are moments when an idea on paper finally meets the ice, and the result is something words can’t quite capture. This year, seeing teams, fans, staff, and volunteers from all walks of life gather in the cold to share a love for outdoor hockey was nothing short of incredible. To every person who braved the elements and cheered from the snowbanks: Thank you. You turned a vision into a community.

tournament recap: pure Northwoods Grit
The competition this year was legendary, defined by rivalries renewed and underdogs rising to the occasion.
Premier Division: The drama peaked under the lights with hundreds of fans watching. The Apache Wolves dominated pool play, handing Steny’s Lake Country an early loss to take the top seed. But Steny’s showed the heart of a champion, clawing through the playoffs for a rematch when it mattered most. In a heated final, Steny’s took the win to secure an unbelievable three-peat.
Open A Division: A huge congratulations to Rocky Reef Brewing Co., who handled the field with precision. Their victory over the Squigglies in the championship game earns them a well-deserved promotion to the Premier Division for 2027.
Open B Division: The "Comeback Kings" (The Wet Dogs) lived up to their name, fighting back from multiple early deficits to reach the finals. However, Steny’s Milwaukee proved too strong in the end, taking home the hardware and clinching a spot in Open A next year.
